Master Sergeant John Charles Klonis, Sr., 78, of Arlington, Texas, passed away September 29, 2024. He was born in Sumter, South Carolina to Peter and Aliene Klonis on November 2, 1945. A career military man, MSgt. Klonis served in the US Air Force for 24 years spanning from the Vietnam to the Desert Storm wars and received an extensive list of decorations, medals, and badges.
Msgt. Klonis is preceded in death by his father, Peter L Klonis, his mother, Aliene Klonis, his brother, Robert Klonis and grandchildren Jackson and Jayden Klonis. He is survived by his children, Carol Daulton and her husband, Dale, John Klonis, Jr. and his partner, Vanessa Wright, along with Cindy Kenney and her husband, Rob. He was further blessed with 15 grandchildren, Heather Daulton, Drew and Caitlin Daulton, Danielle and Beau Seay, Ryan Klonis and his fiancée Jenna Camp, Alex and Ana Klonis, Alexis Klonis, Madison Klonis, Taylor Klonis, Jaycee Klonis, Kash Klonis, and Tripp Klonis as well as 2 great grandchildren, Hailey Daulton and Lily Daulton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:15am on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
