John “Richard” Crouch, 78, passed away on May 1, 2019. He was born to John H. and Lurlene Crouch on May 11, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Richard earned his Teaching Certificate at A&M and became a Machine Shop teacher before establishing several businesses over the years. He was most known for his design and building of helicopter seats and life raft deployment systems.
In his younger years he enjoyed hunting for deer and ducks, and he became an avid fisherman in his later years. He always enjoyed telling jokes and swapping stories with his friends.
Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Crouch; children Susan Crouch and Steven Crouch (Heather); grandchildren Tracy Keshtkar (Mehdi), Michael Crouch, John Morriss and Mia Graham; great-grandchildren Kenzi Keshtkar and Olivia Keshtkar; brothers James R. Crouch (Linda Marie) and Gary A. Crouch (Connie).
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, May 11, from 4-6 p.m. to celebrate Richard’s life at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. All will be welcome to share stories and memories of Richard.
