Jewel Howell, age 86, of Burleson, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Fort Worth.
She was born Jewel Fay Hammock on May 20, 1927 in Douglassville, Texas, a daughter of Joe Hammock and Noma Fuller Hammock. She married Jake Howell and he preceded her in death. She had a passion for ballroom dancing. Jewel is also preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Howell.
Jewel is survived by one son, Ron Howell and wife Martha; two grandsons, Michael Selman and Mathew Keaton.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington.
