Janice Elizabeth Reed

She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1955 and shortly after wed Joseph Michael Burda (deceased). Together, they had three children: Joseph Michael Burda Jr., Phillip John Burda, and Janette Judith Burda-Beamon. In 1968, she remarried and moved to Dallas, Texas, with her three children and love Edward Franklin Reed (deceased).

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow up. A dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan and Elivs lover, she also loved word seeks, Bingo, and Hallmark movies.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elsie Mirth, her husband, Edward Franklin Reed, and her sister, Eleanor Borger.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three children, Joseph Michael Burda, Jr. (Melissa), Phillip John Burda, and Janette Judith Burda Beamon (Tony), nine grandchildren, Phillip John Burda, Jr. “PJ,” Ryan Matthew Burda, Travis Eugene Burda, Joseph Michael Burda, III “Trey,” Sheneé Nicole Burda, Meagan Elise Burda, Tyler Dean Burda, Brooke Elizabeth Beamon and Paige Brianna Beamon. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
