James Andrew Rowe

Funeral: Visitation will be held Tuesday March 2, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Gumby More Stateroom at Moore Funeral Home on Davis Road in Arlington. A graveside service will be held in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Chaplain Dan Ashley officiating.

Mr. Rowe was born on August 31, 1934 in Cady Springs to Jim and Katy Rowe. James left school early to join the United States Army. He married Shirley Clem on December 5, 1959.

James was an automotive mechanic in Arlington for most of his life. He loved NASCAR racing and watching sprint cars and all sports.

James was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Katy Rowe, his wife Shirley Rowe, his grandson Luke Christopher Lee Rowe and several of his beloved siblings, Dorothy, Margie, Charlie, Jean, George and Joanne.

James is survived by his son James Randal and wife Sheila of Burleson, his daughter Teresa Simeone and husband David of The Colony, his son Eddie Rowe and wife Kerry of Columbus, Ohio, his grandchildren Michael, Alex, Sydney, Kasandra, Marcella, Melissa, Tim, and Kaydence. James is also survived by his sisters Barbara Mason and Norma Hammond both from Longview, and his brothers Ray Rowe from Grand Saline and Kenneth Rowe from Longview, JC Clem and his wife Beverly of Azle and Linda Williams of Montgomery , as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
