Born on April 14, 1935, in Cleburne, Texas to Sidney and Trevia Fisher, Farrell went on to accomplish many great things in his life. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Marines Corps where he served his Country with pride for four years. Upon leaving the military, he met and married his wife of 66 years, Evelyn Margaret Watkins and began a family.
A man of the outdoors, he was known to all as an avid hunter. He shared this passion with many family members and friends over the years. In the 1950s and 1960s, Farrell built race cars and was known for building and racing the fastest cars in the area. Through the highs and lows, he was always supporting his favorite sporting teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks. When not in the woods, tinkering with cars, or enjoying a good game, nothing brought him more joy than his family whom he cherished.
Farrell is preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Trevia; Brother Kenneth Fisher; Sister Helen Winters; Daughter-in-law Cindy Fisher.
He is survived by the love of his life, Margaret; Brother Sidney Jr.; children Billy Fisher, Donna Battle (William), and Freddy Fisher (Susie); 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
