Jackie Tabor Wright McMillan was born on August 15, 1931, in Sterling, Colorado, and grew up in Weatherford, Texas. After a 10 year struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, she entered eternal life on May 12, 2014, in Arlington, Texas, at age 82. She married Darrel K. Wright in 1952. They had 3 children together, that they raised in Arlington, before he left for heaven in the fall of 1980. She later married Gerald McMillan in 1992. Jackie was a loving mother, adoring grandmother, and amazing wife. She was a backyard gardener, avid reader, and passionate traveler. She devoted her life to teaching elementary children and giving back to the community as a faithful servant of the Lord. Three children and many grandchildren lovingly remember Jackie: son D. Keith Wright and his wife Karen, their three children, Christy, Kevin, and Amy Harris, as well as her husband David and their son, Micah; daughter Melissa Johnsen and her husband Tom, their three children, Elizabeth, Anthony, and Katherine Johnsen; and daughter Julie Snyder and her husband Mike, and their daughter Rebekah. Visitation is on Friday evening at 6:00pm at Moore Funeral Home and the funeral is Saturday at 2:00pm at Moore Funeral Home on N. Davis.
