Guadalupe Ortiz, age 76 of Arlington, passed away on October 26, 2019. She was born on September 16, 1943 in San Juan de Guadalupe, Mexico, the daughter of Encarnacion Ortiz and Maria Cruz Ortega. Guadalupe married Marcelino Hernandez and he precedes her in death. Guadalupe loved elephants and loved to share her collection of elephant figurines and jewelry. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Arlington.
Guadalupe is survived by her children: Chon Villalobos and wife Maria de Jesus; Carmelo Villalobos and wife Veronica; Alfonso Villalobos and wife Maria, Mario Villalobos and wife Blanca, Lorena Delgado and husband Juan, and Gabriel Villalobos; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marcelino Hernandez, son Adrian Villalobos, two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 4:00-8:00pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home 7301 E. Lancaster Ft. Worth, Texas 76112.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00am on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Arlington. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.
