Charles Richard Roray, a loving father, brother and friend, born February 21, 1939, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to Charles William Roray and Annie May Roray, passed away Friday morning, January 23, 2015, with family by his side.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in his name to the Arlington and or Carrollton animal shelter.
Charles served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1976. He was an avid computer whiz, dog lover, and a talented pinochle player. Charles was also a true and faithful Dallas Cowboys fan, as well as a Texas Rangers fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther M. Roray, and parents, Charles and Annie Roray.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory, daughters, Debra Sulio of Arlington and Theresa Calidonna of New York; son in east Texas; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jennifer and Robert Roray of Arlington, Michael Roray stationed in Turkey, Joseph Calidonna stationed in Colorado, and Toni Calidonna of New York; sisters, Kathryn Cressall of California and Mary Ann Johnson of Florida; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. His jokes will be missed by all who knew him.
