Betty Lou Mulcahy

Betty Lou Mulcahy passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 80 years of age. There will be a viewing at Moore Memorial Gardens at 2:30 P.M. in Arlington, Texas on Monday, October 6th followed by a graveside service at 3:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers and at Betty’s request, the family urges donations to the Alexia Graham kidney transplant account. Checks may be made payable to Alexia Graham, Betty’s great granddaughter, who was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Betty was born to Grace and Phillip Stevens in Stonewall, OK on August 6, 1934. She married the love of her life, Clinton Eugene Mulcahy on July 4, 1954. They shared almost 60 years of marriage until his death in January, 2014. After raising two boys she pursued a nursing career in the mid-seventies retiring from S. Arlington Medical Center. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors: Son, Steve and wife Lisa, son, David and wife Monteen. Grandchildren: Mike, Kylea, Angela, Amber and Cody as well as seven great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Delores Harris and Wanda Dennis as well as several nephews, one niece and multiple cousins.
