Annetta Belle Smith

A visitation for Annetta will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, Arlington, Texas. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home , Arlington, Texas. An interment will occur at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington, Texas.

Annetta Belle Smith was born Oct. 18, 1934, in Bristol, South Dakota. A compassionate caregiver until the time of her passing, Annetta touched lives expressing God’s love with encouraging words, positive thoughts, and always a supportive hug. Her accomplished goal was to make a difference, for others to see Jesus through her, leaving “heart” prints not just footprints. Annetta, a gentle woman of great integrity, will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Mathis-Denholm and John Denholm; brothers: Millard, Frank, Burdette, Robert, and Leonard Denholm; sisters: Jean Denholm-Golden and Marietta Denholm-Morehouse; and two sons, Richard and Gregory Dedrickson.

Survivors: Beloved husband of 39 years, Robert E. Smith; beautiful children, son Michael Dedrickson (Gwen); and daughter, Laurie Darden (James); bonus children, Linda Cook-Fournet (Raymond); Cindy Goss; Bobbie Blakely (Gary); Barry Smith (Cathi); Lisa Minnis (Gregg); and Nancy Kee; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and cherished nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Cook, Nathan Cook, Jeremy Cook, Orion Minnis, Zachary Moore, Jordan Kee, Nick Guadarrama, Mason Blakely, Brett Kee, Jacob Darden, Sabin Dedrickson, Kylie Rose Dedrickson, Shannon Monceret, Keisha Monceret , Nitza Smith, Tara Blakely, Chelsie Dedrickson, Chelsie Dedrickson and Calvin Dedrickson.
