Andrew Fletcher Hope, aka A.F. Hope, was born January 21, 1932 in Clarksville, TX.
A.F. Hope was an affable man who loved children, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends.
He served his country in the United States Army in Korea for two years. He spent most of his career managing construction projects and spending his free time mentoring children by coaching girl soccer, girls softball, boys baseball and being a Cub Master with the Boy Scouts. He was a certified Little League Umpire and served as Southeast Little League President.
A.F. is survived by his wife Virginia Hope, Children: Rhonda Noble Matous, Teresa Crosley (Lee), Barry Hope (Tanya), LaDonna Hogan (Cris). Grandchildren: Scott Noble, Rob Crosley, Shannon Gow, Brittany Hope. Great Grandchildren: Wyatt Crosley, Raeley Crosley, Alex Gow, Baylee Gow. Siblings: Weldon Hope, Douglas Hope, Edith Welch, Joyce Malone, Myrtle Martin.
A.F. was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Vida Horton Hope and his siblings: Charlie Hope, Willie Dee Hope, Lena Reno.
