Andres Rodriques Garza

Andres Garza, age 85, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on December 10, 2021. He was born 11-20-36 in Oakville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father and Mother Ramon and Catalina Garza, his brother Ramon Garza, and his wife, Emma Garza.

He was the oldest of 9 children. His brothers and sisters still surviving

are: Rodrigo Garza, Lydia Ramirez, Leo Garza, Danny Garza, Sulema Hagerman, Rudy Garza, and Elma Garza and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is also survived by: 1 son, George Garza, and 1 daughter, Brenda Wozniak; 5 grandchildren, Mary Pressley, Jennifer Gutierrez, Alan Harrison, and Britney & Matthew Breedlove; 6 great grandchildren include: Brooke, McKenzie, Evalett, Elladi, and Baby Luis Jr. and Alan Jr.

He loved having fun and spending time with his family. He played baseball and enjoyed the boy scouts when he was younger. He met my mom in George West, Texas and they got married in 1960 and moved to Arlington in 1963.

He and my mother were married for 58 years when she passed.

He enjoyed playing music and having family over frequently for gatherings and celebrations. He also enjoyed staying active and spending time in the backyard.

He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers whenever he could.

He worked in the mobile home industry when he was younger and retired from Johnson & Johnson in Dec 1999.

He loved people and loved talking to everyone.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and his memory will be forever in our hearts.

God bless you Dad and Grandpa, and we all know how much you missed our Mom and Grandma and you will now be together forever!

A visitation for Andres will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.

Pallbearers: Oscar Garza, Alan Harrison, Jerry Regalado, Frank Hernandez, Kyle Pressley, and Mark Breedlove.
