Grateful for the time shared with you, Uncle Buck.  Thank you for your service.  May you Rest In Heaven.  Deepest condolences to Aunt Dorothy and the rest of the family.  Love your niece, Jackie

I’m so sad. Buck was one of the better supervisors in the jail. He was definitely a man with integrity. 

I remember Buck from the jail. He was always there to assist whenever I needed assistance.  I leave this message in his honor as a friend, co-worker and just a good person. My prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest easy my brother, You will never be forgotten! 

When I served as Jail Lt., Buck was my "go to" supervisor; the guy to get things done and done right. We had many challenging situations (both with inmates and staff :), and I could always count on Buck to take care of any situation. He was a calming voice in a sea of chaos. He was a true professional and always polite and friendly. RIP Buck.

Such precious memories of Buck, Dorothy and their family.  He was a loving husband, father and friend. His wife, children and grandchildren were his life. 
My husband Al Turner started a band back in the 60’s in Abilene, Tx. It was the Lone Star Drifters. Buck was our lead singer and was the best. They played several years together all over West Texas. 
So thankful to have been a part of their lives and for their lasting friendship. When Buck got to Heaven, he was the last of the Band to get their. I’m sure they’re singing praises to our Father. My heart goes out to each of you, .

Buck was a loving husband, whom loved his wife. I thank him for entrusting my staff and I to care for her. 
I made Buck a promise to take good care of her, and that is a promise that I am honoring. Giving her genuine love daily with an abundance of hugs and kisses especially during this time. 
Buck, may you rest in paradise. Job well done!

Buck was the first father of a friend I ever met. I was a young 6 or 7 year old and The Grooms family lived in the same apartment complex as my aunt. It was a long time ago but I remember him playing guitar and singing old country tunes at a party there in the apartment. My prayers go out to Troy and his lovely sisters and for Connie as well. Buck I would imagin is tuning his guitar and getting his pick ready to entertain the folks in heaven. 

Buck was always the upmost professional supervisor in the jail. I relied on and counted on Buck to make  correct decisions in the jail everyday. He was a calming influence during times of turmoil in the jail. As the old saying goes Buck was a really good guy.


I remember Buck, hard at work in the jail. Always helpful but stern to those that needed the extra guidance. 

I will miss the times we visited and Uncle Buck would sing to us all. We would go to bed and start yelling Uncle Buck my toe hurts. Rest In Peace my favorite uncle until we may all meet again.
