Previous to living in El Paso, Mike was a long time resident of Arlington Heights where he attended St. Viator High School, graduating in the late 1960's. After school he joined the Navy where he served until 1972. He went on to earn an accounting degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL.
For many years, Mike along with his mother Doris, managed the Arlington Heights movie theater in downtown Arlington Heights. He then went on to work at Northrop Grumman in Rolling Meadows. In the early 1990's, Mike relocated to El Paso, Texas where he worked for Raytheon.
Mike is survived by his sister-in-law Lynn: his nieces Kris (Joe) Del Vecchio and Kathie (Corey) Dossett; great-nephew Grayson Dossett and great-neices Aurora Del Vecchio and Hilary Dossett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dennis, and his sister Mary F. Giancaspro.
