Marianne Lee Rubel

Beloved wife of the late Richard George Rubel for 26 wonderful years. Loving mother of Dolores (Win) Georg, of Arlington Heights, IL. and Richard (Diane) Rubel, of Des Plaines, IL. Proud grandmother of Mark (Emily) Rubel, Eric (Kimmy) Rubel, and Nathan Georg. Godmother of Lisa Bozek Devine and Cathy Anne Amundsen. Cherished companion to Ken Tadych. Extended family of Susan (Michael) Wrzeszcz, Kristen (Ethan) Miles, Lauren Wrzeszcz, Ryan Wrzeszcz, Karen (Randy) Tierney, and Caitlyn Tierney.

Marianne loved cooking and baking for her family. She enjoyed wallpapering, sewing, and making kids fleece blankets for the hospital. She was very supportive of her children and grandchildren with everything they pursued - cheering on their baseball, basketball and hockey teams, attending band concerts, going to cub scout activities and more. She was a cub scout den leader and actively involved in the FVHS parent band boosters. She loved talking on the phone to her besties, especially Dian Davis. She enjoyed dancing and her and Richard would go ballroom dancing every Sunday when they dated. She will be dearly missed by all who know her.

Visitation will be held from 9 am to 11 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A funeral service will at begin at 11 a.m. following the visitation. Interment will be private at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery
