Maria Oswald Nee Klostermann, 82, was peacefully brought home to the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. Beautiful and beloved wife of Nikolaus; loving mother of Nick and Cindy Reschke; dear Oma of Tegan, Alex, and Robin.
Maria, born in Romania, was a caring sister to 5 siblings. Traveling to America in 1955 aboard the S.S. General Langfitt, she met her husband and started their life and family together. After years of working hard as mother, housewife, and factory worker, Maria enjoyed winters with her husband on the beach in Florida, summers with her grandkids, and dancing, sewing, and cooking year round.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Hts., from 9 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM, followed by a graveside burial.
