James Buchanan 94, of Schaumburg and formerly Arlington Heights was born on March 11, 1930 and passed away December 16, 2024. James was the beloved wife of the late Carol (nee Eckert) Buchanan; loving father of Thomas (Melinda) Buchanan and the late James Buchanan; caring grandfather of Brooke (Jason Jordan) Suchomski, Bonnie (Steve) Murray, Brittany (Jim) Carroll and the late Ryan Buchanan; dear great-grandfather of Michael, Megan, Taylor, Grace, Samantha, Rhyan and Rusty. Jim worked for Commonwealth Edison for 38 years.
