Gloria Ann Carpino

Gloria was a devoted homemaker who raised her three children and took care of her mother and father-in-law for many years. Later in life she worked at Pioneer Park for the Arlington Heights Park District as assistant to the Parks Director. She was a member of the St. Edna Catholic Church choir for 30 years. Gloria was best known for her warmth, kindness and beautiful smile. She touched all who knew her.

Gloria is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Joseph Carpino Sr. She was a beloved mother to Debra Filipowski (Keith), Joseph Carpino Jr, and Michael Carpino. She was proud grandmother to Travis Filipowski (Kindle). Loving sister to Albert Leoni (Rose), Carol Taylor (Dan), and Joseph Leoni Jr. Loving aunt to Dominic Rossi (Stacey), Mary Altman (Ron), Eugene Rossi (Denyce), James Leoni (Minnie), Laura Stout (Glenn), Michelle Joseph (Jim), Vincent Stafford (Theresa) and Pamela, Donna, Ronnie and Cheryl.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A visitation will occur Friday, March 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment to follow at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067.
