Happy mothers day Mom,  its been 4yrs. since you left us. I miss our talks and spending time together.

Today is my mothers 80th Birthday, we miss her as each day passes. There is always something in this house that bring back a memory of her may it be in her living space or in the yard.  we would say my mother does it this way or the kids would say Omi would say this.

Another year goes by without you for the holidays and Xmas dinner where we eat sauerbraten which is our German tradition. I'm very lucky you had shown Gloria how to continue our traditional meal. I mis sour time of us around the dining room table enoying our meal and spending time together. 

I miss you Mom.. Loves always

Theres not a day goes by I dont think of you Mom, how i miss our talks or just sitting watching tv in the living room. I always loved when you smiled and your eyes  wide open when we brought you a Lutz cheese cake or when I came home with Red Lobster. Those are some of the smiles I'll never forget.  I love you and miss you.

Its not easy not seeing you at the table for Thanksgiving dinner sitting next to me.  
I miss you.

It's been 2 yrs since I last held your hand and gave you a kiss, I didn't want to say goodbye so I said I will see you again.  Each passing day I think and pause and reflect on our time together and wish I could've had one more day.  Mom, I miss you. ❤️

Its been difficult not seeing you on your Birthday.  Gloria and the kids and I miss you very much and not a day goes by that we dont think about you and how much of you is in this home.   I always look at our old pics adn this reminded me of happy times of you dancing on the sidwalk on Mango.

Chris, I've always considered you a 2nd Mom and having spent most of my life with you during good times as well as  bad times during your illness, we developed a special bond unlike any other. to say I/we miss you is an understatement. Our lives will forever be changed without you here with us, your happy smile and special way you lit up a room with your personality will always make my heart smile as well be forever missed. Love and miss you Mom!

This will be our first motherday with you..  we will always remember our time spent together, you are truly missed mom. ❤

Thanksgiving and Christmas wasn't the same this year.  Its been hard not having you here. I loved  to see your face light up when Gloria makes her cheese cakes for our dinners.  I miss you Mom.

My thoughts and prayers to all. Christine is a fine loving lady that i wish i would have spent more time with.i enjoyed my visits with her when i went with my sister. We would always stop and bring her lunch and have great visits. I will miss her so much.( i am Jeannette s sister Betty)

Dear Chris I remember growing  up and not having any extended family. We were told they all lived in Germany or died in Poland. I always wondered why no one ever moved to America and low and behold one day you were brave enough to fly across the ocean with your small son and start a new life.  You always had the courage and strength to do anything and everything. You are a role model for me as my mom was two strong women. It was a blessing to have you in my life, I know you are up there with the other embers of our family enjoying each other. Till we meet again love always.

Mom, Thank You for the way you raised me, I know it wasn't always easy. I will always cherish our time together and the talks we had. I will miss your advise and you telling me to Cool It! when I was out of line but most of all just YOU! You were the Best Mom a Son could Ever have. I will miss you every day. This is not Goodbye. This is, until I see you Again. Love You Always

Chris was like my Grandmother as she was like a Mother to my Mom and Aunts. I enjoyed her spunk as it reminded me of my Grandmother, Lore, Chris’ cousin. One favorite memory I have is of Chris in the hospital and finding Irene’s glasses and me videoing a message to Irene that we found her glasses. Chris put them on and liked them and said, “Irene, we found your glasses, and you ain’t gunna get them back and then laughed.” It was sooo funny! Rest in peace Chris. We will keep your memory alive.

The early years with my mother in Germany & Chicago before 1970. 

How do you say goodbye to someone who has been intertwined in most of your life since you were a young teen. Chris was a second mother to me and friend ,a rock in good times and hard .A roll model I wanted to emulate. We grew  close together. One of my fondest memories is going to her house to bake Christmas cookies. Another is spending weekends with her and babysitting Tom.  Must recently is visiting  her with  my sisters sharing food and laughter,leaving with a smile on my face. I know she has taken a piece of my heart with her. I know we will meet again. To Tom,Gloria,Micheal the grand children and great grand children she was a amazing women who left her home land to make a new life in America. She had left her mark on my life and made me a better person. My heart and prayers go out to all of you. I have been truly blessed by knowing her. She will be  truly missed.

Chris we will so miss you   You were such so loving towards all of us when our mom passed having you there made us feel close to her you were so loved by our family and gave us all love and comfort.  You may be gone but will not be forgotten and we will always remember you.  May you rest in peace.  Sending much love to the family as they mourn the loss of you Love you Lori

I met Chris when I was 6 years old, she and her little boy Tom lived with us as we were her only relatives in America. I remember thinking she was so beautiful ! Thru the years we came to know her and the beauty of her love of life. Chris loved her boys fiercely, loved all animals tenderly, loved her German roots and kept them alive  thru her baking plum cakes and cookies, rouladen ,spaetzle.  And so much more! I loved bringing her red cabbage and see the smile it brought to her face. You leave a legacy of love dear Chris and you are forever in our hearts ❤️ Wiedersehen Ulla & Kevin

Chris (Mom), you will forever remain etched in my heart, it was a privilege being a part of your life and caring for you and all your needs and being a  Daughter to you. I will love you till my last breath. Auf wiedersehen to the best Mother in Law I was blessed to have.
