Ollie Joyce Noah Bouldin

She was born November 22, 1922 in Stokes County to William Walter Noah and Mary Evelyn Joyce Noah. On June 5, 1943, she married Joseph William Bouldin, who preceded her in death January 11, 1981. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Wilma Prevo, Beadie Smith, Lennis Yow, Lena Knox and Laura Hicks and her brothers, Warren Noah, Johnny Noah and Claude Joyce.

A homemaker, she was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed her family, gardening and church network.

Left to cherish wonderful memories are her daughter, Jo Carol Dobbins and husband, Larry of Thomasville; son, Phil Bouldin and wife, Judy of Trinity; son Max Bouldin and friend Debbie Prince of Trinity; grandchildren Mark Dobbins and wife Stephanie; Stephen Baker; Amber Smith and husband Jon; Peter Baker and wife Sara; Jordan Bouldin and wife Megan; Natalie Bouldin and their mother, Jan Bouldin; great-grandchildren Parker Smith, Jonah Dobbins, Julia Dobbins, Caroline Baker and Myles Bouldin; Sister-in-Law, Dorothy Noah of Ararat, VA; brother, Tommy Noah of Winston-Salem and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Sechrest Funeral Home in Archdale. The funeral will be held at Archdale United Methodist Church, where she had been a member since 1943, located at 11543 N. Main St. Archdale, on Friday, January 23,2015 at 2 p.m. The burial will be immediately following at Oakwood Memorial Park, 312 Montlieu Ave. High Point. All other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Jo Carol Dobbins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262 or to Archdale United Methodist Church.
