Jaylan was born In High Point, October 18, 2001, a son of Nyrobi D. Good, Sr. (Kissy) and Angela Sawyer, and adopted mother, Lola Sawyer. Jaylan was a very athletic person who played football for High Point Central High School. He was a dedicated father. Jaylan was preceded in death by two brothers, Antoine Gelzer and Nyrobi D. Good, Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth L. Good and Bettye Taylor Good; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Taylor; and a maternal uncle, Michael Sawyer.
Surviving in addition of his parents are two daughters, Kali Ferebee and Jamilla Sawyer; six sisters, Janetta Good, S.(LeeLee) Sawyer, Natethia Gordon, Aaliyah Good, Kiana Wall and Adriana Wall; four brothers; Michael Sawyer, Rashemel Good, Soloman Sawyer Craig and Stephen Small Jr.; a maternal great-grandmother, Lucille Collier, paternal grandmother, Nancy (Dollon) Smith, aunts, TIffany Good-Simmons (Benjamin), Daniella Braswell, Artrice Finkster; uncles, Donta WIlson (Amega) and Patrick Duran and a host of other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Jaylan's life will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Advantage Funeral & Cremations Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1 p.m. until the service.
