Mine and David's conversations either text or phone call would always start with him saying "Wassup Cuzzz" he had the funniest way of saying it, I can still hear it in my head. David was more than a cousin , we considered each other brothers, infact there was a funny fsmily joke that he and I were actually real brothers because there was no explanation why he and i looked alike and acted alike.  We would have conversations about being Dads  with us both raising 3 girls. But we agreed we had the best jobs in the world being Dad's. Then we both were lucky enough to each have 2 grandchildren  each and our lives just got that much better. 20 years ago he stood up with me at my wedding. I remember the conversation like it was yesterday. Before I could get the words out all he said was "I'll be there Cuzz." and without fail he and Yvette were on a plane to Seattle. Those of you who knew David know thats just the way he was, he would do anything for anyone.  I loved his infectious laugh, we would be cutting up and he would get to laughing which made me laugh even harder as he wiped tears from his eyes, and i can hear him say "Greg....you're crazy" and we would laugh until our stomachs hurt.  You will be with me forever and live in my memories, I Love you Cuz.

If anyone  needed a True Friend,  David was one to have.                            He was Blessed with the kindest of Hearts, and  went out of his way to be there for anyone that needed him.                                                             Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and those of us that knew him have lost  a wonderful friend.                                                                           Memories of him  will forever be  in our Hearts.                                                  My condolences go out to his Beautiful daughter and two little grandsons, his brother and sisters. You are in my Thoughts and Prayers.

David was the kindest, most gentle and caring friend I had.  He was quick to put his own needs aside and rush to help a friend in need.  Wherever David was there was sure to be laughter and joy.   His absence will leave a monumental void in our community.  The world has truly lost a vivid ray of light.  I will forever treasure the memories we made together over the years.  My prayers for his beautiful children and grandchildren, as they were his pride and joy, and I know they are missing their wonderful Father. 

I had the privilege of meeting David in the early 80s when we were teenagers.  In all the years I knew him he always wore a smile and I never saw him angry or say a cross word to anyone.  He will always be remembered as a superb human being and an even better friend.  Prayers for all the family and friends.   

I met David when he worked for the City of High Point.  David always had a quick smile for you.  Many years of traffic related opportunities to work with David and he always wanted to tell me about his girls.  They meant so much to him.. and once he became a papaw he had stories for that too. David embodied a dedication to his family first and then excellence in his job.  I will sorely miss talking to David.  

I met David over twenty years ago. I feel fortunate to have worked with him all his professional life with four different companies. David always strived to provide the best in him to others, he always had a kind word to say about everyone; his love for his daughters was contagious and exhilarant. I'll forever miss his business insights and our chats about the performance of our favorite football team. He will be sorely missed but will forever remain in our thoughts.

I will always remember David for his good sense of humor, his honesty and for the love he had for his family. He was a great human being always willing to help, always respectful and a total gentleman. I worked with him on several occasions and I always had a lot of admiration and affection for him.

David was a wonderful friend. For a few years, before I was old enough to drive, he would take me “cruising” with him in High Point (when that was the thing to do on weekends!) Many times after church on Sunday’s we’d hangout and find something to do as well. We had a lot of fun times in that Ford truck blasting the “OOOGAH” horn gathering laughs and raised hands from folks!  David was part of a “circle” of friends that I was blessed to be included in as well. Fond memories that I will cherish. His kind and pleasant demeanor are and were his trademark. My wife and I are lifting all of you up for God’s comfort and presence. Thankful and Blessed to have known David.  Mark & Allison Mosley
