Lawrence "Larry" Dawson Bell

He is survived by his wife of 5 years Carrie Oliver Bell, (3) children and their spouses, Lauren “Bell” Davis (Elvin), Lawrence D. Bell, Jr. (Lara), and Michele “Bell” McCormick (Neil) and (3) Step Children and their spouses, Joseph Foster, Matthew Oliver (Kristy), Michael Oliver (Erin), his sisters Jeanne Tuck and Rita Poole. He will be greatly missed by his (6) grandchildren Caleb Rome, Madison Davis, Caleb Bell, Sierra McCormick, Seth McCormick and Brynley McCormick. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

Larry is preceded in death by both his parents Vernon Bell and Dorothy Slack and step father Richard Slack, Brothers – Vernon “Sonny” Bell & Marion ‘Earl Bell, and Step Daughter Stephanie Williams.

During Larry’s life, he was a Fireman in the United States Air Force, an instructor at Oxnard Beauty College, and a Service Manager in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years. Larry was an avid Classic Car guru and a member of the Over the Hill Gang Apple Valley, High Desert Roadsters & Sunset Hill Cruisers. He spent most of his free time enjoying his hobby in the classic car scene as well as with is family and friends. He truly enjoyed everything he did and was always offering a helping hand with a smile on his face.
