Patrick, Karen and family-So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother.  She loved her family and talked about all of you often.  Pat was one of my best friends when she lived here in Winston.  I kept up with her after she moved to Florida.  She was terrifically bright, funny and always honest.  I will miss her.  You have such great memories and I'm glad that in spite of her declining health, she was in Florida, and spent her last years with you.

    So very sorry for the loss of your mother.  We have many fond memories of raising our children & socializing together, as neighbors in Seffner, FL.  Take comfort in knowing just how much your mother (& your Dad),  adored all three of you. You were the priority of their lives.  Since then, many other people have been added to your family.  Your mom had son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law, & cherished grandchildren.  She was even blessed with a GREAT granddaughter.  All of you have your own special memories of times spent with her. Each of you will grieve in your own way, in your own time.  Your mom/grama would hope that you all comfort each other, & focus on the happy times, the funny stories, & how she contributed to making each of your lives better.  She was a well respected woman, intelligent,  a hard worker, & touched alot of lives during in her lifetime.  She left this world a better place.  And as a grama myself, I know she would want her grandchildren to know that she loved them very much.  Becoming a grandparent is one of life's most WONDERFUL moments.  You can't fully understand that very special kind of love, until you experience it first hand.  Let them know how much their very existence, enriched her life, & made her happy.  Each of them, we're uniquely  treasured, in her heart. Never let them forget her.  Much love to each of you, as you deal with this painful loss.

My name is Lynnette and my husband is Arthur we were across the street neighbors of Ms. Pat. She was the sweetest , funniest, spunkiest, rootin tootinest woman We have met (besides my own mom). We looked up to Ms. Pat  as if she was our grandma. We miss her dearly. She would give us books and cross the street to chit chat briefly. Ms. Pat rest is peace with all of our beloved family who are already in Heaven. Welcome home !
