Gregory von Eberstein

Charles Gregory von Eberstein, a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 13, 1940, Charles lived a rich and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many. He was married to his beloved wife, Gail Wright, for 64 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter.

Charles is survived by his brothers, William von Eberstein and Danny von Eberstein and his sister Camille von Eberstein, sister-in-law, Linda, and many nieces and nephews. As well as his two sons, Gregory II and Jason and daughter, Tracy, along with their spouses, Julie, Teresa, and Dwight. He was a proud grandfather to Kaley, Samantha, Tyler, Kaila, Charles, Marcus, Thomas, Nicholas, Alexandria, and Derrick. He also treasured his role as a great-grandfather to Kaia, Myla, Beau, Callan, Elias and Ezra, who brought him endless joy.

Charles had a passion for flying, often reminiscing about his days as a pilot. His love for aviation was rivaled only by his deep affection for family, as he cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories and sharing stories that will be remembered for years to come.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Charles on December 21, 2024, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and the impact he had on all who knew him. Charles Gregory von Eberstein will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends forever.

A public visitation for Gregory will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 601 N PARK AVE, APOPKA, FL 32712. Following the public visitation will be a graveside service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703.
