He was born in McKinney, Texas on May 21, 1939. Bob graduated from Monterey High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.
He married Judy Bryant on June 21, 1959. He had a 30-year career in banking at the Citizens National Bank of Lubbock, TX, First National of Lubbock, TX, First Jefferson of Metairie, LA, Cullen Center of Houston, TX, Texas Commerce Medical of Houston, TX, and Texas Commerce of Ft. Worth, Texas where he served as president and CEO before retirement.
He was a Second Degree mason and a long time trustee of Texas Wesleyan University of Fort Worth, Texas. He had a passion for building and woodworking.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Judy; children, Debi Goodman (Kerry) of Apopka, FL and Kevin Bryant (Cindy) of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren Grayson (Erica) Goodman of Apopka, FL, Cameron (Allison) Goodman of Apopka, FL, Tanner Goodman of Apopka, Florida, and Samantha Bryant of Dallas, Texas; 5 great grandchildren, and brother, Ronald Bryant of Indian Head, Maryland.
A Celebration of life Service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 601 N. Park Avenue, Apopka, Florida at 2 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
