Virginia Rose Fritts

Virginia was born on February 20, 1933 in Marion, KY. Where she met the love of her life Neil Fritts. Their life together took them to Waldorf, MD for 38 years until they followed their daughter and her family to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2004. Virginia couldn't stand the thought of being so far away from her granddaughters. She was the best Nana there ever was going to every cheerleading and gymnastic competition she could. She became involved in the craft club at Surfside United Methodist Church and made lifelong friends. Her motto "If I'm sittin I'm knittin."

Virginia and Neil were happily married for 61 years before he passed away in 2019. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Contento and her husband Paul of Apex, NC; granddaughters Tayler Quinn (Patrick), great grandson Charlie of Memphis, TN, Morgan Bowden (Bob) of Charleston, SC and Lexi Easton of Memphis, TN.

Along with her parents, Earl and Ruth Patmor, Virginia is reunited in passing with her husband Neil Fritts; brothers Willard (Martha) and Glen (Jane) Patmor; sister Mary Jewel (Douglas) Alexander all of Marion, KY.

It was Virginia's wish not to have a funeral service. A memorial was placed at The Reserve at Mills Farm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Foundation.
