Nicolas "Nic" Holden Meyer

Nic was born on July 14, 2000 in Raleigh, NC, the son of Russell Meyer and Laura Dellinger. He graduated early with honors from Apex High School in 2018. He then worked in construction until his untimely passing.

Nic touched the lives of many people during his short time with us. He enjoyed making happy moments with his family filled with laughter and outdoor fun during annual reunions in Frankfort, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. He also enjoyed special visits with his family in Florida, North and South Carolina, and California. He was fortunate to have experienced the love and caring of a personal partnership and truly enjoyed spending time with his closest of friends. He had a kind heart and a gentle soul. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Nic cherished any outdoor activities from canoeing and kayaking to wake boarding and jet skis. He enjoyed working on motorcycles, cars and trucks. He loved walking the beaches of Lake Michigan and peaceful moments tending a bonfire on Crystal Lake. He rarely passed up an opportunity to enjoy the ocean in any setting.

Nic is survived by his father, Russell Meyer (Beth); his mother, Laura Dellinger; his siblings, Benjamin Meyer (Morgan), Daniel Meyer (Cori), Jack Meyer; his stepsister, Kelsey Stolzer; his grandparents, William Meyer, Ted Dellinger, and Faye Dellinger.

Nic was preceded in death by his brother, Moritz “Alex” Huber; his grandparents, Connie Meyer, and Lucy Meyer.

A celebration of Nic's life will be scheduled at a later date.
