Linda Forsythe Jones

Linda Forsythe Jones, 66, of Fuquay Varina died at her home peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Mrs. Jones was born in Louisburg, NC on April 5, 1944 to Luther Parker Forsythe and Dorothy Boyd Forsythe.

She was the manager of Buffaloe Lanes South and retired in February 2010. Mrs. Jones was a member of Catawba Springs Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter: Donna and Carl Kiger of Raleigh, Connie and Ricky Buffaloe of Fuquay-Varina, and Dawn and Will White of Raleigh; grandchildren: Shelby Kiger, Carmen Kiger, Ricky Buffaloe, Jr., Bobby Buffaloe, Erica Buffaloe, Emily Buffaloe and Drew Buffaloe; sister: dot Lucas, brother: Donnie Forsythe.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Johnson, and second husband, Glenn Jones; brother: Luther Forsythe, Jr.; and sister: Vickie Smith.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 31, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the home of Linda Jones.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Catawba Springs Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Catawba Springs Church Building Fund or Wake Christian Academy Annual Fund.
