Frances Batchelor Ferrell

Frances was born May 13, 1924 in Wake County to the late Ethan and Ivy Myrtle Bland Batchelor. She was employed as an administrative assistant in the Dairy Records Department at NC State University retiring with many years of service. Frances attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Quinton Maynard, Earnest “Doc” Thompson, and Carl Ferrell; brothers, Charlie, Joe and Lee Batchelor; and sisters, Thelma Hallock and Ruby Mizelle.

Frances is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at Green Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Cary. The family will receive friends 1:30-3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
