Charles Byron Habel, 66, of Apex, died Thursday, July 24, 2014. He was born in Gary, IN on July 25, 1947 to Leo Habel and Ann Smoltz Habel.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ann Kirksey Habel; sons: Chad Keenoy (Marisol) of Apex, and Craig Prindle (Nicole) of Atlanta; daughter: Patricia Larkins (Neil) of Alabama; sister: Patty Smith of Gary, IN; grandchildren: Bella Keenoy, Dylan Keenoy; Amanda Larkins, Elisa Larkins, Neil Larkins Jr., and Jessie Larkins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex.
A celebration of Chuck’s Life will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Apex Funeral Home. Entombment will be at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI.
