Anna Marie Clifton was born in Washington DC on November 11th, 1933 to the late John Henry Langley and Deda Lyon. She loved to play cards, spend time with family, watch WWE wrestling, and sit on the front porch with her sweet dog Angel.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John (Cliff) M. Clifton, Sr., sons John (Johnny) M. Clifton, Jr., Dale Richard Clifton, her 3 brothers and twin sister, and two granddaughters.
She is survived by her loving son Alfred Clifton (Sherry), daughters Bonnie Dempsey (Arthur) and Adaline Wiedemann (David), 8 grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-Great grandchild.
Private graveside services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland MD. at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to UNC Hospice.
