Graveside services for Wendy Wood Whaley, 49 of Alexandria will be 2:00 pm, Sunday at Anniston Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Jay Parrack officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 prior to the service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Ms. Whaley passed away Thursday at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Whaley; her son, Taylor Whaley; sister, Wanda Wood Gilreath (Ben); nieces and nephews, Madison Gilreath, Ezra Gilreath, Allisanne Whaley, Ty Whaley, Chelsea Whaley and Morgan Whaley and her aunt, Alene Hogue.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harrell and Kay Wood; grandparents, William Olin and Bessie Mae Wood and Arnold and Katherine Crim.
She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church of Ohatchee and a 1985 graduate of Alexandria High School where she loved all of her classmates.
