Stacy B. Winkler

Funeral service for Stacy B. Winkler, 53, of Columbia TN formally of Anniston, will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Gray Brown-Service with Frankie Stallings and Michael Locke officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton United Methodist. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-3 pm at the funeral home.

Survivors include daughter, Autumn M. Winkler of Anniston; mother, Lorene Winkler of Anniston; sisters, Julie Mayo (Rick) of Danville VA, Carol Williams (Danny) of Clinton MS and Brenda Rodriquez (Jes) of Hartselle AL; nieces, Jenny Stowe, Kelly Shepherd, Amy Williams, Heather Locke, and Carrie Chambless; nephew, Evan Williams; six great nephews; and one great niece and his four legged friend, Pork.

Mr. Winkler is preceded in death by his father, Luther Audry Winkler.

Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Blackburn, Tim Busby, Chris Mayfield, Wendell Waddell, Bill Pope, Evan Williams, Ricky Conner and Todd Holt

Mr. Winkler was a graduate of the Walter Wellborn class of 1978 and attended the Ayers Technical College. He served in the Air National Guard. He worked at Ft. McClellan and retired from General Motors in Springhill TN after 23 years of service. He was an avid deer hunter and loved spending time outdoors. Mr. Winkler was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed.
