Born in Anniston, Alabama and raised by George and Evelyn Thrasher in that same area. She attended Walter Wellborn school and was involved in the marching band in high school and other activities until she graduated. After she graduated, she married Johnny Johnson in 1966. She became a mother in 1968 and had various jobs throughout her life. She had many roles in her life including daughter, wife, mother and aunt but no matter the role she took on, she did her very best to take care of those who were important to her. Being a mother to five children was the most important role to her. Later in her life, she attended and graduated from Gadsden business college as a medical assistant. She worked various jobs throughout her life. She was a caregiver for her grandmother, her Daddy, her Momma and my Daddy when they needed her. All the while raising her children the in the best way she could.
She actively was involved in and supported her children's activities in school or outside of school. Every one who knew her could tell how big her heart was. She touched the lives of many people and will forever be missed by all of those she met and cared for.
