Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Lynn Smith, 68, of Oxford, will be November 11th, 2023, 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will accept friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Smith passed away on October 25th, 2023.
She is survived by her husband William Carter Smith; daughter, Jennifer Curvin and her husband Bill; sisters, Faye Coogler, Donna Thompson and her husband Ray; brother, Robert Moore; niece, Raegan Willoughby; nephew Rob Moore.
Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Bernice Moore; son, James Carter Smith; father-in-law, Jack A. Smith; mother-in-law, Juanita B. Smith.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Janet was a huge Alabama football fan who enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. She loved her fur babies Charlie Brown and Curious George. She was a loving mother and wife who was dedicated to her family. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
