Horace Hayes

Funeral Services for Horace Hayes, 72, of Oxford will be 1 pm Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Holley Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Burgess Austin officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 - 1 pm at the Church. Mr. Hayes passed away on Thursday at RMC.

Survivors include his brothers, Frank Hayes (Glenda), Lester Hayes (Kathy) and Marvin Hayes, sisters-in-law, Rachel Burt and Nancy Greene, brothers-in-law, Eugene Denson Greene and James Greene, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hayes is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Hayes, mother, Annie Melton and mother-in-law, Alice Key.

Pallbearers will be Roger Hicks, Shawn Harper, Jacob Champion, David Champion, Adam Lanfair and Jim Cagle.

Mr. Hayes was resident of Calhoun County for most of his life. He was a member of Holley Springs Baptist Church. He retired from Gregerson's.
