Funeral services for Gloria Ruth Whaley of Anniston will be 1 pm Friday, October 28, 2022 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr. Stephen Anthony officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 - 1 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Whaley went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was 79 years old.
Survivors include her children; Terry Wayne Whaley of Alexandria, Tom Whaley of Warner Robins, Georgia, Toby Whaley of Alexandria, five grandchildren; Taylor Whaley, Alisanne Whaley and Ty Whaley all of Alexandria, Morgan Julsonnet (Nathan) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Chelsea Whaley of Warner Robins, Georgia, three great-grandchildren; Everleigh Cobb of Alexandria, Nicholas Neely of Warner Robins, Georgia and Miles Julsonnet of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Gloria is also survived by the father of her children, Travis Whaley.
Mrs. Whaley is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Addie Smith.
Mrs. Whaley was a resident of Anniston and a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church.
