Geraldine Peek Reid

Geraldine is survived by daughter Sherron Reaves (Jim); brother-in-law Jack Reid; granddaughters Angela Reaves, Amber Poland (Shane), great grandchildren Cayde Sprung, Aiden Sprung and Addyson Poland.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband James Franklin Reid; daughter Cathy Rowell Jones; parents Goldie Mae and Arch Peek; brothers John Peek; Legrand Peek; sister Margaret Coley; sister Ruby Johns and sister Nellie Mae Calhoun.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 142 Bethlehem Church Road, Oxford, AL. A funeral services will occur Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM, 142 Bethlehem Church Road, Oxford, AL. A burial will occur at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery, Oxford, Alabama.

Serving as pallbearers are Roger Turner, Brandon Coley, Michael Reid, Timothy Calhoun, Jimmy Roszell and Johnny Roszell.

Geraldine was a long time resident of Calhoun County. She graduated Oxford High School and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired from Oxford City School System (Lunchroom Manager).

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed.
