Dorothy Edna (Smith) Anderson

Dorothy is survived by her daughters Janice Edwards (Carlton); Vickie Clapper; and Kathy Haynes; her sisters Margie Whaley, Judy Mae Smith, Joyce Kantu and her brother Harold Smith (Kim); her grandchildren Amy Cook, Tasha Leigh, Jeffrey Russell, T J Russell, Brandy Goode, Twenty great and great great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Charles G. Anderson; her daughter Susie Hammock; her parents William Lester and Lula Mae Smith; her grandchildren Fayla Robinson, April Clapper Hulsey, Eric Anderson.

A graveside for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at New Bethel Baptist Cemetery, 811 Mahaffey Road, Eastaboga, AL. with Rev James Abernathy and Carlton Edwards officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Family and Friends.

Dorothy was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County where she retired from Blue Mountain Industries after 25 years. She was the largest Alabama Fan but her happy place was Pigeon Forge, Tenn. She was a loving mother grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed dearly.
