Donald Smith

Known to so many as "Duck" or "Smiley", Mr. Smith was a true servant who always put others needs before his own. He taught his children the importance of working hard and loving your family.

Survivors include his children, Joyce Fundaburk, Alan Smith (Darla) and Cindy Hall (Daniel); his grandchildren, Joseph Barnwell (Angela), Shane Smith (Michelle), Ashley McDermott (Tyler), Holli Renfroe, Hope Renfroe, Brian Smith (Shelbi Peters), Tabatha Gann, Naomi Gann (Rick Raney) and Harper Bronson, Anderson and Samuel Hall. Great grandchildren, Brandon and Loralie Barnwell, Avari, Gavin, and Tyson Smith. Sisters, Neva Estes (Marvin), Nadine Buchanan (Larry), Violet Hamilton (Terry), including many nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice; an amazing group of people used by God to be His hands and feet: Amber, Sarah, Rhonda, Stacy, LaBreeska, Andrea, and Emily.

A celebration of life service for Donald R. Smith, 73, will be held at Cornerstone Church on Sunday, September 11th, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Church on Choccolocco or Iron City Baptist Church.
