Debra Fields Messer

Funeral services for Debra Fields Messer, 63 of Anniston will be 1:00 pm, Monday, March 26, 2018 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Tuck officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Messer passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Messer; sons, Shon Messer and Chad Messer (Tiffany); grandchildren, Coleman Messer, Hannah Messer, Luke Messer and Sam Messer; sisters, Char Taylor (Johnny), Sandy Norton (Steve) and Donna Lisa Brasher; brother, Terry Fields (Sherri); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Messer is preceded in death by her father, Bill Fields; mother, Mollie Fields Brasher; her step-father, Charles Brasher; and her great-niece, Angelynn Luckado.

Pallbearers are Jackson Fields, Brandon Luckado, Eric Messer, Justin Noah, Coleman Messer, Tim Green, Craig Messer and Wayne Wells. Honorary pallbearers are Billy McFry, Luke Messer and Sam Messer.

Deb is remembered by all for caring for others. Her biggest attribute was caring for her husband, mother, children, grandchildren and family. She loved children and it didn’t have to be just her own. She was married to her high school sweetheart for 45 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and we will hold those memories in our hearts forever.
