Claire is survived by her daughter Rhonda Junior; and her daughter in law Michelle Harper; her sister Gail Fulton (Bobby); her grandchildren Sarah Brand (Clint), Heather Brown (Jason), Michael Harper (Julie), her great grandchildren Evy Brand, Ezra Brand, Jordan Harper, Kendall Harper, Carter Black, Kristen Walker, Payten Walker, Braxton Brown and Hunter Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
Claire was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ray Harper; her son Timothy Harper; her parents Edward and Eris Jones; her brother Edward Jones; her sisters Mary Pate and Clairice Joel.
A visitation for Claire will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. Following the visitation will be a private entombment for family only.
Serving as pallbearers are Clint Brand, Jeff Junior, Jason Brown, Hunter Brown, Michael Harper and Andrew Folsom.
Claire Harper was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was married for 54 years to her husband, Ronald Harper, before his passing in 2011. She worked at Martin's Family Clothing and Andy’s Store For Men for many years. She had the biggest heart for people and her home was everyone’s home. She loved her family and was always available when they needed her. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them. She loved the Lord with all her heart and served Him until her very last breath. She will be greatly missed by those of us left behind but we know she is rejoicing with our Lord today.
