Graveside services for Charles Franklin Williams, Jr., 78, of Oxford, Al. will be at 2 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Forestlawn Gardens in Golden Springs with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Mr. Williams passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at RMC.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra McClendon Williams, four married children and nine grandchildren, two sisters, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his father, Charles Franklin Williams, Sr., mother, Mary Lee Britt Williams.
Pallbearers will be Doug Rosser, Michael Maddox, Derek Smith Wesley Holbrooks, Shane Harper and Floyd Jennings.
Mr. Williams was a member of Golden Springs Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a founding member of Carpenters for Christ.
Mr. Williams was a third generation homebuilder and was instrumental in bringing the Homebuilders Association to Calhoun County, where he served as president of the association for several years. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Army veteran.
