Bonnie Jones Gibbs

Funeral service for Bonnie Jones Gibbs, 93, of Anniston, will be 11 am Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, Dr. B. Locke Davis Christian Life Center Chapel with Dr. Mack Amis officiating. Entombment will follow at Forestlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 – 11 am in the Fireside Room. Mrs. Gibbs passed away on Friday at Golden Living Center.

Survivors include her niece, Glenda Phillips (David), sisters-in-law, Erlene Gibbs, Edna Yates, Lorena Smith and Wilma Jeter and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs. Gibbs is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Gibbs, parents, Mr & Mrs. Luther Jones and several sibilings.

Pallbearers will be David Phillips, John David Phillips, Keith McCullough and Don Bonner.

Mrs. Gibbs was an Anniston resident for most of her life. She was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church. She was the unofficial greeter at Golden Living Center for the past 5 years. The family would like to thank Golden Living Center and staff for the love and care of Mrs. Gibbs.
