A memorial service for Ms. Bobbie Jean O'Kelley Clark will be held at the Church of the Covenant on Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 am. Ms. Clark passed away on September 30, 2024. She was born in Anniston, Alabama and lived there for most of her life. Ms. Clark graduated from Anniston High School, Samford School of Nursing, and UAB School of Nursing Anesthesiology.
Bobbie is survived by her devoted sister Sonja Tucker Parris (Jerry), her nephew Frank Tucker (Lori), her niece Kelley Pearce (John), her nephew Matt Parris (Julia), her niece Christina O'Dell (Scott), several great nephews and nieces, one great-great nephew, and a special friend Judy London.
Bobbie retired from RMC after 40 years of service as a nurse and nurse anesthetist. During her time at the hospital, she served as an officer for many local, state, and national Anesthesiology professional organizations.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, where she served as an Elder, Children's Choir Director, and Choir Member. Bobbie also served on the Board of Directors for the Presbyterian Home and delivered Meals on Wheels for several years.
Bobbie loved Alabama football, Atlanta Braves baseball, traveling, ballroom dancing, singing, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, her church, and her friends.
