Billy Barker

Billy is survived by his wife, Dianne Barker; his daughters April Williams (Jake); Emily Barker (Nick); Mary Jean Slaughter; his sister Laura Frances Trapp (Leon), his brothers Hershel Barker (Diane), Bobby Barker (Betty), Larry Barker; Phillip Barker (Judy); his grandchildren Autumn King, Jase Tousey, Bentley King, Jayden King, John Tousey, Brayden King, Kaydence Lancaster, Natalie Lancaster and Waylon Williams.

And several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Billy was preceded in death by his son Cody Dewight Barker; his parents Howard and Nellie Barker; his sister-in-law Patricia Faye Barker.

A visitation for Billy will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 2:00 PM at Anniston Memorial Gardens, 4000 US Highway 431, Anniston, Alabama 36206.

Serving as pallbearers are Dustin Barker, John Bragg, Matthew King, Gregory King, Allen Mickler and Joe Hall.

Billy was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a truck driver OTR most of his life. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed Alabama Football. Billy was involved with Talladega Race Track and loved Nascar racing. He will be missed by all that knew him.
