Betty was a member of Weaver Congregational Holiness Church where she sang in the choir. She retired from Ft. McClellan and then volunteered at Jacksonville Hospital where she went on to work in the Medical Records Department for many years. Betty enjoyed gardening, puzzles, reading her Bible and cooking. Her chocolate pies and lemon ice box pies were family favorites. She loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at NHC Healthcare, who loved their "Sweet Ms. Betty" and whom she loved dearly. Thanks also to Enhabit Hospice for their care and support.
