Annie Strickland

Annie is survived by her daughters Jean Hill (Doug); and Susan Cooper; her sister Yvonne Martin (John); her grandsons Jonathan Hill (Kristen), Collin Cooper (Melanie) and her step great grandson Alex Hester, and several nieces and nephews.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband Mark Strickland; her son-in-law Philip Cooper; her parents Henry and Ola Johnson; her sisters Bobbie Horton; and Charlotte McGuirk; her brother Douglas Johnson.

A visitation for Annie will be held Sunday, January 1, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary Chapel, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM. with Dr. Mack Amis officiating.

Annie was born in St. Clair County and was a resident of Calhoun County most all of her life. She graduated Anniston High School in 1948 and was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church. Annie was a loving mother and wife, her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, her love beyond words and missed beyond measure. Love you MOM.
